Viceroy's spot is prime, just a hop away from great local eats like Capo and Herringbone Santa Monica. The vibes by the pool are chill, perfect for sipping cocktails and soaking up that LA sun. The free bikes are a sweet perk too, making cruising around Santa Monica a breeze!
Upon arrival, we were met with a raucous strike outside, and the hotel felt pretty empty inside. Breakfast was a letdown, just pastries and fruit. Definitely not what we expected during our stay.

missingWrote a review on Dec 11great locationfriendly stafftired room decorhot water delaytripping hazard
A great location near the pier and Venice Beach complemented by friendly staff and usable amenities like free bikes. However, the room was a bit tired and lacked the aesthetic appeal expected for the price. Additionally, the bathroom had frustrating issues with hot water delays and subpar water pressure, and the ramp configuration created tripping hazards. Despite the beautiful surroundings, these details made for a less enjoyable experience than anticipated.

The hotel had a lovely ocean view and clean, modern decor, though the walls were thin, making for some noisy nights. While the service was friendly and accommodating, the dining options could be improved, especially the slow service at the restaurant.

The ocean view from our room was breathtaking, and we really enjoyed the yoga class on the beach offered by the hotel. Relaxing by the pool after a long day exploring was just what we needed, and the breakfast each morning was a delicious start. The only thing to note is that the sun deck can get a bit crowded at times, but overall, we had an amazing stay! 🌊

Modern atmosphere with attentive staff
We were very impressed with the modern and clean design, creating an inviting atmosphere. The staff was exceptional, treating us with warmth and professionalism right from check-in, even offering us a glass of wine. The proximity to the beach made our stay even more enjoyable. However, the pool area felt a bit small for the number of guests during our visit.

An unforgettable experience! The poolside food was exquisite, and the cozy ambiance was enhanced by an evening DJ. Exploring Venice Beach on borrowed bicycles made my stay even more special. Don't miss out on the delicious drinks at the bar. they were a lovely treat!

Overall, a stylish stay with excellent dining and impressive pool area, although the bathroom didn't quite match the glam photos. I'd think twice before returning, though.

Staying here was fantastic for our family getaway! The pool area was a hit among my 5 teenagers, while we enjoyed afternoons at Santa Monica Beach and evenings ice skating nearby. The spacious rooms were clean with a lovely sea view, making our experience memorable.
My kids wished the breakfast offered more variety for picky eaters.
